I am a carpenter / timber framer / joiner with 20 years experience... I have worked for the past 18 years for I.W.Payne and Company Ltd, working predominately in the field of repair, restoration and alteration of historic buildings, working to exacting standards and professionalism. I have learned to appreciate that no two jobs are ever the same. Since starting I have worked my way up, starting with the company as a trainee carpenter to establishing myself as a lead timber framer/carpenter/joiner, running my own projects to becoming site supervisor/foreman. This has involved the running of small and large projects ranging from £1,000.00 to £300,000.00 these projects range from replacing windows and general repairs to extending and altering existing buildings and to full restoration of burnt out structures including all services and finishes. My knowledge is expansive and continues to grow.
As I embark on the next chapter in my life’s journey of running my own company, I fully intend to continue within the field of work which I have enjoyed within my previous employment, working to exacting standards with attention to detail, whilst gaining a reputation for being professional, trustworthy and producing quality workmanship.
